Apply In-Person:

1. To Renew a radio and television license in person, the applicant has to approach the Egyptian Radio and Television Union (ERTU) in Egypt Contact link
2. Visit the office and obtain an application form for renewal of the Radio and Television License from the respective department.
3. Make sure that you have all the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. Complete the application form with all required details and information in the respective spaces provided.
5. After completing, submit the application form to the relevant authority at the office.
6. Also, pay the required fees for the renewal of the license as directed by the officials.
7. After submission, the completed form and corresponding documents will be put into further verification and validation processes.
8. Once all the processes got completed, the authorities will make the necessary steps for the renewed license issuance process.
9. The processing time for this procedure is 1 month.

• Certificate of Incorporation
• Current Tax Clearance Certificate, a letter indicating tax waiver should be obtained and attached to the submission.
• Certified true copy of Articles and Memorandum of Association.
• 3 passport photographs of authorized representative.
• Feasibility report of proposed service applied for renewal.
• Completed application should be submitted in triplicate with all necessary documents attached and bound.
• On submission, a nonrefundable administrative charge which is 5% of the relevant license fee would be paid.
• A copy of the Expiring License.
• All payments are in bank draft
