Apply In-Person:

1. To Obtain a Yellow Fever Certificate in person, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Health and Population.Contact link
2. Applicant must obtain the application form from the relevant department.
3. Applicant should read carefully in the application form, after all details must be filled in the application form.
4. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
5. A fee for this procedure is has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
6. The person needs to get the vaccination a minimum of 10days before travel, or else the boarding will be refused. This is because the vaccination needs to mature.
7. Applicant can get the vaccination from any ministry of health offices present in the border entry points, air ports and sea ports.
8. If applicant is an Egypt Citizen, the applicant can get vaccination from public and private hospitals and clinic run by the government.
9. The vaccination takes few minutes once get vaccinated a small yellow booklet will be provided yellow fever certificate.
10. The yellow fever certificate must be kept next to him/her passport and other travel documents because it is the proof that the applicant has to stick to all the travel requirements.
11. The Processing time for this procedure is 1 day.

• It is advisable that you should visit a clinic in your country, about six weeks before your flight to get the vaccination. If applicant is short of time, schedule the vaccination day ten days before the flight trip.
