Apply Online:

1. To apply to obtain a production supplies card, the applicant must submit an Application for Issuance of a Production Supplies Card to GOEIC contact link.
2. The head office of the GOEIC in Cairo and the affiliating branches (6th of October, Alexandria, Port Said, Damietta, Sharqia, Gharbia, Dakahlia, Asyut, Sohag and Aswan).
3. The applicant must submit this application form along with proper documents and required fees.
4. Refer to the “Required Documents” section of this procedure to learn more.
5. The documents will be checked and will go through a technical review.
6. Once the documents are reviewed and verified, the card will be issued to the applicant.
   

1. Factories listed in the industrial register (existing and produce)
   • Registration certificate in the industrial register (valid) or the letter indicating the registration or the renewal (temporary register).
   • A copy of the factory’s commercial register or the extract of the commercial register (valid)
   • A copy of identity verification document
2. Industrial Productive Cooperative Associations
   • A valid registration certificate in the industrial register or a valid temporary register.
   • Approval of Department of Industrial Crafts and Productive Cooperation which confirms the productivity of the association.
   • A copy of the cooperative association’s articles of association
   • The latest meeting minutes of the cooperative association for the determination of the managing director or the head of the cooperative association.
   • A copy of identity verification document of the head of the cooperative association or one of its responsible managers.
     
3. Productive Cooperative Associations
   • A letter issued from the competent authority of Ministry of Agriculture approving the issuance of the card stating that the cooperative association is productive
   • A copy of the cooperative association’s articles of association stating the required agricultural activity (plants - livestock - fish stock) \
   • A copy of identity verification document of the head of the cooperative association or one of its responsible managers
4. Projects of Plants, Livestock and Fish Stock

   • For individuals:
     • Issuance of card
     • Approval of competent authority of Ministry of Agriculture on the issuance of the card and that the project is a productive one.
     • A copy of identity verification document of the interested party or a passport.

   • The document referring to the estate of the activity (possession/ leasing contract/ license... etc.)

   • For companies:
     • Issuance of card
     • Approval of competent authority of Ministry of Agriculture that the company holds a productive project and that there is no objection to issuing a card for the company
     • A copy of valid commercial register of the company or an official extract.
     •   A copy of identity verification document of one of the officials registered in the commercial register who are entitled to manage and sign

5. Press Organizations

   • Issuance of card
   • Commercial register
     • Approval of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation
     • Explicit approval from the head of the press organization to which the press facility is affiliated
     • A copy of identity verification document of the head of the press facility.
     • A copy of identity verification document of the applicant (representative or agent) to be kept with the warrant or the copy of the power of attorney.

6. Productive Touristic Projects

   • Issuance or renewal of card
     • The permanent or temporary licensing document issued by the Ministry of Tourism upon which the period of card is defined
     • The approval of General Department for Supplies of the Ministry of Tourism on the issuance / renewal of the card (original)
     • A copy of a valid commercial register of the facility after reviewing the original or an original copy of a commercial extract.
     • A copy of identity verification document of the head of the department.

7. Facilities Working in The Field of Military Production (civil productions)

   • Issuance or renewal of card
     • The approval of the National Authority for Military Production on the issuance or renewal of the card, including the civilian products for which production supplies are required to be imported.
     • A copy of a commercial register and a copy of identity verification document of the person responsible for managing and signing on the behalf of the facility.
     • A copy of identity verification document of the applicant (representative or agent) to be kept with the authorization paper or the copy of the power of attorney.

8. The following documents are to be provided by the suppliers who do not have an industrial register and import packaging materials by virtue of the temporary admission:
   • A valid exporters register.
   • A copy of a valid commercial register or an extract thereof to indicate who has the right to manage and sign.
   • A copy of identity verification document of the interested party
   • The document indicating the activity; commercial register, operation license and the approval of competent authority assigned to supervise the activity.
   • A copy of the tax card of the facility in which the facility is defined and packaging is included
9. Services ProjectThe following documents shall be provided:
   • Approval of competent authority
   • A request from competent authority to GOEIC seeking approval on the issuance of an import card for the activity.
   • A copy of identity verification document of the interested party.
   • The document indicating the activity
   • A copy of valid commercial register or an official extract of the commercial register.
   • A copy of power of attorney and a copy of identity verification document of the agent or the representative are provided, in case of power of attorney.
10. Petroleum CompaniesThe following documents shall be provided:
    • A letter from the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation stating its allocation of a share for the company and that it allows the company to practice the activity, with no objection to the issuance of a production supplies import card.
    • A copy of agreement between the Cooperative Of Petrol and the company for mixing and packaging stating the location of the company.
    • A copy of a valid commercial register or an extract of the commercial register.
    • A copy of identity verification document of the person who is entitled to manage and sign as set forth in the commercial register.
    • A power of attorney or a warrant from the interested party

The Department issues the registration card in Production Supplies Record in order to import its needs of production supplies, raw materials, equipment and machines that serve the project, with the card being issued with a registration period that expires by the expiry date of activity document.
