Apply In-Person:

1. To Obtain a Diamond Export Permit in person, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Industry and Trade authority.

3. Applicant must obtain the application form from the relevant department.
4. Complete the application form with appropriate details and required information as asked with respect to license requirement.
5. Documents that are needed for this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the applicant form while submitting it at the office.
7. A fee for this procedure is has to be paid as per as authority’s request.
8. The Secretary, before issuing a license, require the applicant to provide security, by way of bond or cash deposit in the prescribed form as the Secretary require, for the due payment of any prescribed fees or royalties which may become payable by such dealer in the course of his business under the law.
9. Submit the completed forms along with the supporting documents at the respective office for verification and processing.
10. Then, the officials will proceed to perform the internal processes with respect to the applicant’s request.
11. Initially, the attached documents and the application form will be checked for sufficiency and appropriateness.
12. If found sufficient, further necessary tasks will be accomplished by the concerned officials for the issuance of license.
13. Once all the tasks and processes are over, the applicant will be intimated to collect the license through any applicable means.
14. The Processing time for this procedure is 1 day.
