Apply In-Person:

1. The certificate of movement is issued by the Ministry of Interior in Egypt Contact link
2. To obtain the movement certificate, the applicant must first approach the Passports and Immigration administration, Abasseya.
3. The applicant must approach the first window and collect an application and queue number from the window.
4. After waiting for about 40 minutes, the applicant will be called and they must submit the required documents and the application form to the respective authority.
5. Refer to the “Required Documents” section of this procedure to learn more.
6. The applicant must approach the Immigration office to collect the certificate within 3-4 days.
7. The certificate will be issued to the applicant after passport verification.

Movement certificate is a form, which is used in international commodity traffic. The application of this form is based on application of various bi- and multilateral agreements within the foreign country and the original country.
For applying Schengen visa in Egypt the Movement Certificate is a mandatory document for Egypt citizens.
