Apply In-Person:

1. To Obtain a Certificate of Acceptance in person, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. Contact link
2. Applicant must obtain the application form from the relevant department.
3. Applicant has to enter all the information in the application form.
4. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
5. Application fee details shall be provided by the concerned licensing officer.
6. Submit the completed forms along with the supporting documents at the respective office for verification and processing.
7. If all the above mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the application form will be viewed by concerned authorities and the applicant will be notified regarding their application.
8. After getting the notification from concerned authorities, the applicant can visit the office to collect their document.
9. If there is no information regarding the application, then, the applicant can visit the office to know status of the application.
10. The Processing time for this procedure is 1 day.

• Certificate of Acceptance is needed for importing and installing of irradiating device or radioactive material in Egypt.

• Without a certificate of acceptance, no radioactive material is allowed within Egypt.
• Therefore any manufacturing, buying or selling of a radioactive material in Egypt is illegal without a Certificate of Acceptance.
