Apply In-Person:

1. To Obtain Flight Dispatcher/ Flight Operations Officer License in person, the applicant has to contact the nearest Civil Aviation Authority Office in Egypt.
2. Information related to the civil aviation office and License authority can be obtained from the “Office locations and contacts” section of this page.
3. Visit the NCAA office with an application letter made in writing and duly signed by a person authorized by the applicant to request for a Flight Dispatcher or Flight Operations Officer License.
4. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section or this page.
5. When all the conditions have been met, and have been satisfactorily certified by the Authority’s Licensing Office, the applicant will be advised to pay the prescribed fees found under the "Fees" section of this page.
6. Attach the required documents with the letter of application.
7. Then, submit the application package to the Director General at the office in person, for further processes.
8. Upon receipt of the application and the attached documents, the application will be subjected to an evaluation process in the Licensing Directorate by License Examiners/ASI.
9. The applicant will be issued a payment slip for processing fees and will be directed to pay at a designated bank.
10. The teller is presented to CAA cash office where an official receipt of payment is obtained and submitted at the Licensing Directorate upon which the application is processed.
11. When the document is ready, the applicant is notified (through email or phone number) of the collection of the signed License, which will be released upon presentation of an identification or letter of authority from the company.
12. If the application is not satisfactory, a Letter of Denial is written to the applicant within 24hours informing the applicant reasons for such denial and advising the applicant on the outstanding documents to meet his or her request.
13. Further processing will depend on when the applicant submits the outstanding documents.

• Any person in Egypt, who wishes to practice as a Flight Dispatcher or Flight Operations Officer, can apply.
• The applicant for Flight Dispatcher License should not be less than 21 years of age.
• The applicant should possess a Medical Certificate of relevant class.
• The applicant should have received and logged ground training from an authorised instructor on relevant subjects.

• A fee for this procedure is EGP. 4,500.

• The validity period of a Flight Dispatcher license is 5 years.
