Apply In-Person:

1. To Obtain Batch Number Certificates (BNC) for Import in person, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Egypt Contact link
2. Then, the applicants can get their application form from the authority.
3. Please complete each section of this application form.
4. Also, make sure that the applicant has all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
5. Attach all the documents with the application letter and submit it to the Director of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
6. A fee for this procedure must be paid as per the authority’s request.
7. The authority will dispatch an inspector to the facility premises for inspection to determine if Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Storage Practice (GSP) during the packing, processing, storage, labelling, sterilizing, testing, dispatch, quality control, and quality assurance of the products.
8. A copy of the report finding will be given to the applicant and if any modification or upgrading is required, Corrective Action and Preventive Action Report (CAPA) report will be issued and you will be required rectify the problem.
9. Upon successful implementation of the CAPA, a follow-up inspection may be conducted by the inspection team to ascertain the effectiveness of the implementation (where applicable).
10. If the Expert committee formed by the authority are satisfied that all the conditions are meet as required for the application, applicant will be notified of the outcome and issued with the license by the register/authorized official.
11. The processing time depends on the verification and processing at the Authority.
