4. Applicant should read carefully in the application form, after all details must be filled in the application form.
5. Attach copies of the required documents and submit to the ERC offices for processing.
6. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
7. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
8. Submit the completed forms along with the supporting documents at the respective office for verification and processing.
9. This application will be processed and information will be verified by the respective office.
10. If the verification is successful, the notification will be sent to the applicant.
11. Notification for collection will be made through email and text message.
12. One is required to collect the certificate from the ERC offices.
13. Applicant is required to carry a proof of identity during collection.
14. The Processing time for this procedure is 1 month.

One should possess the following:

• Valid driving license with more than four years’ experience.
• Professional drivers training certificate from a school approved by ERC.
• Valid medical certificate indicating applicant is fit for the job.
• Certificate of formal education within minimum KCSE or equivalent.
• Valid certificate of good conduct from relevant authorities.
• Basic Training on Handling of LPG.

• Application fee details shall be provided by the concerned licensing officer.

• Validity period is one year.

• No person is allowed to drive a petroleum tanker for the purpose of transportation of petroleum within Egypt unless the person is in possession of a valid certificate issued by the Energy regulatory commission.

• The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources sets up policies and strategies for the Petroleum Sector and its five entities for implementation. The petroleum policy is based on increasing the reserves as well as production of crude oil and natural gas through intensifying the upstream activities.
