Apply In-Person:

1. To Get Government Insurance Fund via Postal Operations, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Health and Population. link
2. Information related to the respective authority can be obtained from the “Office locations and contacts” section of this page.
3. The applicant should visit Insurance Fund offices to make the application.
4. Applicant should read carefully in the application form, after all the details must be filled in the application form.
5. Documents that are needed for this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
7. Submit the completed forms along with the supporting documents at the respective office for verification and processing.
8. Once the verification of all the documents and application has been done, the applicant will be informed through phone or email to the notification.
9. After getting the notification from concerned authorities, the applicant can collect their document via post.
10. This process usually takes a period of 7 days to complete.

• The individual needs to have attained the age of 18 years. (No age limit after the age of 18 years)
• The individual needs to be drawing an income from Egypt.
• Individuals working under contract or casual terms of employment
• Voluntary contributors, this includes foreign visitors permitted to work or study in Egypt.

• Proceed to make registration fees of EGP 1500.

• Registration remains valid as long as monthly contribution is paid.
• The cover becomes active after 60days from the day of registration.
