Apply In-Person:

1. To Environmental Impact Assessment License in person, the applicant has to approach the Ministry is Environment and Forest, Regional Office

3. Applicant must obtain the application form from the relevant department.
4. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
5. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
6. A fee for this procedure is has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
7. Submit the completed forms along with the supporting documents at the respective office for verification and processing.
8. This application will be processed and information will be verified by the EEAA.
9. If the verification is successful, the notification will be sent to the applicant.
10. After getting the notification from concerned authorities, applicant can visit the office to collect their license.
11. If there is no information regarding the application, then, the applicant can visit the office to know status of the application.
12. The Processing time for this procedure is 1 month.

• Environment Impact Assessment license is required when an organisation in Egypt performs a project that seems to be affecting the surroundings and environment.

• Any Person in Egypt, who commences, proceeds, executes or conducts any project without approval granted under the Act an offence and on conviction is liable to the penalty prescribed under the act.
