Apply In-Person:

1. To Change of Non-Governmental Organization Officials in person, the applicant has to first contact the Ministry of Manpower and Immigration or Ministry of Social Solidarity.

3. Before proceeding to apply, the company’s Board of Directions must have passed a Board Resolution proposing the name change.
4. Then, a Special Resolution should have been made at a general meeting regarding the change of company name.
5. After the meeting, required changes must have done in the company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association.
6. Once all these have been done, visit the office and conduct a name search at the office with the help of the official in-charge over there.
7. Obtain an application for Change of company name as required from the relevant department.
8. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
9. Now, complete the form with appropriate information under relevant sections. Attest it with your signature once completed.
10. Then, pay the applicable fees as directed to the relevant bank account. Find the information regarding payment in the office website or contact the office.
11. The applicant should also pay the Annual Returns that are due, to the Corporate Affairs Corporation.
12. After paying the fees, attach all the required documents with the completed application and submit it to the relevant official at the office and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
13. Then, the application will be forwarded to the concerned authorities for further verification processes.
14. Once the verification and validation processes are over, the application will be approved and the officials will proceed to take required steps for the Change officials of company.
15. After completion of all required processes, the applicant will be notified to visit the office and issued with the Incorporation Certificate with the changed officials.
16. The processing time is half a day.

• It is important that the completed form must contain all the information required properly and the form must be filled legibly, in order to get accepted by the Authority.
• On receiving your application, the department will advertise the notice of Business name change in its official Gazette if the application and all the documents attached are found in order.
• In case if there are no objections for the notice, the Commission will approve your application and issue a new Certificate of Incorporation.

• All NGO applications should be typed or filled in block letters.
• All applications MUST contain ORIGINAL signatures of the officials and members as applicable.
