Apply via Agent
Apply In-Person:
- To apply for a family or spouse visa, you need to have your family or spouse write an invitation letter to you and approach the ARAB REPUBLIC OF EGYPT, ELECTRONIC VISA PORTAL.
- This can be a short letter; no specific requirements are tied to it. At the least, it needs to say who the person or persons are that wrote the invitation (with their complete name and address).
- The invitation letter must also say who you are (with complete name and address, and other information of all the travellers). The letter must also say the date of travel.
- The applicant must submit the application or letter to the respective authority.
- Once the application is processed and accepted, the applicant will receive the application within the stipulated processing period.
Apply Online:
- To apply online for a business visa in Egypt navigate to the link
- Create an account on the Egypt e-Visa Portal via the registration page by clicking on the “Sign-Up” button.
- Confirm your account registration and login to the Egypt Visa portal.
- Click on Apply Now.
- Select the desirable type of visa: family or spouse and read the instructions on the screen carefully.
- Fill in the application form.
- Once the application form is filled complete the payment using a MasterCard, Visa card, or other debit cards.
- Wait for the approval via email and download it. Print the business e-visa from your account.
- Present your printed e-Visa to the immigration officer at the port of entry.
Required Documents
- You can only apply for your visa for Egypt if your passport:
- is valid for at least 8 more months from the moment you arrive in Egypt
- is a regular passport, so not an emergency passport or residence document
- Your Egypt visa
- Your travel itinerary
- A letter of invitation

This visa is granted to a spouse of a Egyptian citizen, or to a member of his/her family (sons or daughters of a Egyptian citizen).
