Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for National Social Security Fund in person, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Social Solidarity Department.

3. Applicant must obtain the application form from the Ministry of Social Solidarity Department.
4. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
5. Applicant must make sure to carry all necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.( Both photocopies and originals)
6. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
7. The duly filled form must be attached with the supporting documents and submitted to the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
8. There is no fee for this procedure. However, a minimum amount is required for activation of the card.
9. If all the above mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the application form will be viewed by concerned authorities and the applicant will be notified regarding their card.
10. The Processing time for this procedure is 1 month.

• A self- employed person, who wishes to become a member of the Fund, may register as a voluntary member.

• Application is free of charge.
• Egypt shillings 100 for voluntary member.

• Registration remains valid as long as contributions are made.
