Egypt - Apply For Free Zone Entry Visa


Procedure

Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for a free zone entry visa, the applicant needs to approach the visa authorities upon reaching the airport and fill up the application form.
  2. The applicant needs to submit the required documents along with the fees.
  3. Refer the “Required documents” section for more information.
  4. The applicant will receive the visa within the processing period of time.


Apply Online:

  1. To apply online for a business visa in Egypt navigate to the Link
  2. Create an account on the Egypt e-Visa Portal via the registration page by clicking on the “Sign-Up” button.
  3. Confirm your account registration and login to the Egypt Visa portal.
  4. Click on Apply Now.
  5. Select the desirable type of visa: Free Zone Entry and read the instructions on the screen carefully.
  6. Fill in the application form.
  7. Once the application form is filled complete the payment using a MasterCard, Visa card, or other debit cards.
  8. Wait for the approval via email and download it. Print the business e-visa from your account.
  9. Present your printed e-Visa to the immigration officer at the port of entry.

  • Proof of the Air ticket
  • Letter of Application from company on behalf of expatriate to Free Zone Authority indicating acceptance of Immigration Responsibility
  • Duly completed Application Form
  • Photocopy of ID Card (where applicable)

Eligibility

Any visitor to Egypt who is under countries that have an agreement with Egypt who were granted visa-free entry or under any other conditions can apply for a free Entry visa on arrival.


Fees

Applicable Fees

  • USD 50 for single categories of re-entry visa
  • USD 100 for multiple category of re-entry visa

If you select a processing country other than Egypt, your payment must be in US Dollars


Validity

This is distinct from not requiring a visa at all, as the visitor must still obtain the visa before they can even try to pass through immigration at the port of entry in Egypt.

Free Entry visa is granted at a immigration office and Visa is not required to countries that have no immigration control. This is obtainable at most international ports of entry and at most international land border crossings.
