Dominica - Renounce Your Citizenship


Procedure

  1. Gather all documents you will need to present or submit to apply for the procedure.
  2. Fill out an application form to renounce your citizenship. The form can be obtained from the Labour Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Labour office.
  3. Submit the completed form along with all other required documents like a letter addressed to the Honourable Minister for Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Labour requesting renunciation of citizenship, your birth certificate, 4 passport sized photos, notarized translation of request for renunciation of citizenship by the Dutch or relevant authorities and the treasury receipt as proof that the application fee was paid.





Required Documents

  • Completed application forms (duly notarized). The forms are available at the Labour Division, Ministry of National Security, Labour and Immigration.
  • EC $20.00 adhesive stamps. The stamps can be purchased from the General Post Office in Roseau and at its branches.
  • A letter addressed to the Honourable Minister of National Security, Labour and Immigration requesting renunciation of citizenship.
  • Applicant's birth certificate
  • Four (4) passport sized photos
  • Treasury receipt, proof that the application fee was paid
  • Notarized translation of request for renunciation of citizenship by the Dutch or relevant authorities
