1. Obtain necessary documents and have the copies notarized.
2. Fill up the application form.
3. Submit form along with all other required documents.
4. Pay the application fee which is in a form of a bank draft.

NOTE:

• All information in Foreign Languages should be translated into English by a certified translator, stamped and notarized appropriately.
• All documents/copies should be notarized.
• Effective May 25, 2009, a Police Record and Medical Report (including HIV/AIDS test) are no longer required for applying for a Visa.

A visa is a document stating that a person is authorized to enter or leave the territory for which it was issued, subject to permission granted by the immigration official at the time of actual entry.

The authorization may be a document, but it is commonly in a form of a stamp endorsed in the applicant's passport (or passport-replacing document).

The work of the Labour Division is governed by the Labour Standards Act Chapter 89:05 of the Revised Laws of Dominica. The Department is headed by the Labour Commissioner (Mr. Matthew LeBlanc) assisted by the Deputy Labour Commissioner, Labour Officers and other support staff.
