How to apply

1. The company which has employed you (foreigner) in Djibouti should visit the National Agency for Employment, Training and Professional Integration (ANEFIP) office, two months before the expiry date of the initial work permit, approach the service desk and express your interest.
2. Submit the work authorization renewal request letter and attach the supporting document (listed below under "Required Documents") to the attending official for verification and processing.
3. Pay the required work permit renewal fees.
4. If the authorized official is satisfied that all the documents are in order you will be issued with the renew work permit within 7 working days.

• All foreigners are required to have a valid work permit to be able to work legally in Djibouti, thus renewing their work permit 3 months before expiring.
