The City of Copenhagen requires that the applicant is registered in a Danish database and that there is a clear personal identification.
You can get a permit for providing a bike taxi service in Copenhagen free of charge.
Permits given out from the end of March will be valid until the 14th of April the following year.
Check your permit for dates of validation. Renewing the permit is the holders responsibility.

There are two types of permit issued in Copenhagen:
Red Zone permits are only given out once a year (in March) and are only given out in a limited number. Permits that are being up for renewal are prioritized. Any permits not renewed will be advertised online.
Applicants who do not get a Red Zone permit will be put on a waiting list.
Blue Zone permits are given out throughout the year without limitations.

Picking up passengers:
Red Zone and on Langelinje: you are only allowed to pick up passengers at the spots assigned by the municipality.
Blue Zone: you are allowed to pick passengers anywhere, with regard to general traffic and the area.
In the entire city it is permitted to pick up passengers who have ordered a taxi pick-up to a specific address. You are also allowed to pick up customers from the sidewalk while en route, if this is possible in regard to general traffic.
Note: Under no circumstance allowed to pick up customers from the bike lane or from the road.
