Daman and Diu - Obtain a Duplicate Learner Driver License


Procedure

Apply In-Person

  1. To apply for duplicate Learner Driver License in Daman and Diu the applicant has to approach the RTO office to which your area belongs to.
  2. Please follow our “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page to get details of the RTO offices.

  5. Application forms can be obtained from the appropriate RTO offices that should be completed and presented with appropriate document and fees.
  6. Also make sure you have all the necessary documents to process the application
  7. Present the completed application forms in the counter and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.

Apply Online:

  1. Keep all the documents handy before applying.
  2. In order to obtain a duplicate learner driver's license online, please follow the link: Link
  3. Select "Online Services" from the menu and click on "Driver License Related Services".
  4. On a new screen, select “Daman and Diu” from the drop-down menu against “Please select the State from where the service is to be taken”.
  5. In the next window, please click “Apply Online” to select the “Services under Driving License” option.
  6. Now hit the “Continue” tab to get to the next screen.
  7. Select an appropriate option and fill in the information prompted for, then click “Proceed” to get the new page.
  8. Fill out all the details correctly and prompted upload the “Required Documents” to process the application.
  9. Please take a printout of the Acknowledgement slip.
  10. The applicant can take a printout of the online application form with the help of the link: please follow the link:Link.
  11. Select “Daman and Diu” in the drop-down menu against “Please select the State from where the service is to be taken”
  12. In the next window, click “Download Forms” to select the “Print application form” option.
  13. Enter the application number in the next window and hit “Submit” to get the printout.
  14. The applicant can fix an appointment with RTO with the help of the following link Link
  15. Select “Daman and Diu” in the drop-down menu against “Please select the State from where the service is to be taken”
  16. In the next window, click “Enquiry on Slot Availability” to select the “Services on Driving License” option to go to the next window.
  17. Please select the appropriate option to get the slot.

Apply through Centres:

  1. To obtain a duplicate Driver's License in Daman & Diu, the applicant shall visit the nearest CSC/Tehsil Centre. Find contacts to CSC centres in the link provided:Link
  2. Procure the mandatory application form from the concerned centre and fill it up with the necessary details required for the license.
  3. Make sure to attach all the "Required Documents" along with the application form before submission.
  4. Provide authorized signatory and photograph, wherever applicable.
  5. Make the requisite payment required for the process (if applicable).
  6. Now, submit the application to the office of the concerned centre and obtain the acknowledgement slip.
  7. After successful verification, the duplicate Driver License (Car, Bike, Motorcycle) will be issued by the concerned authority.
  8. Obtain the license from the concerned CSC centre by showing the acknowledgement slip.

Validity

  • A person who has obtained Learner’s License (LLR) may apply for Driving License after 30 days and before six months from the date of issue of Learner’s License,
  • During this period of time one can apply for duplicate LLR

Need for the Document

  • A driving license is an official document that states that a person may operate one or more types of motorized vehicles, such as a motorcycle, car, truck, or a bus, on a public roadway.
  • Under the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act,1988 in India, no person can drive a motor vehicle in any public place unless he holds a valid Driving License issued to him, authorizing him to drive a vehicle of that particular category.
  • Driving without Driving license is an offense. Incumbent has to pay penalty
  • LLR is required to apply for the permanent driving license. One need to apply for duplicate LLR if he / she lost one
