Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to severe and multi-disabled persons who are living below poverty line.
Apply In-Person:
central government scheme - Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme

1. To apply for this scheme, the eligible person has to submit two copies of duly filled application form along with required documents to the concerned district panchayat in rural areas and in municipal council in urban areas.

3. Obtain the application form from the respective counter OR write on a plain paper OR download using the following link. NSAP please select the hyperlink under disability pension session as per requirement for application form.
4. After scrutiny, the application is forwarded to the applicable authority for approval
5. Following the approval, the approval letter is dispatched to the respective Post Office of the applicant or to the bank where a savings account is opened in the name of the beneficiary for making the payments.
6. In case of rejection of application, the applicant is duly informed.

Apply through Centres:

1. To apply for state disability pension in Daman & Diu, the applicant shall visit the nearest CSC/Tehsil Centre. Find contacts to CSC centres in the link provided:Link
2. Procure the mandatory application form from the concerned centre and fill it up with the necessary details required for the pension.
3. Make sure to attach all the "Required Documents" along with the application form before submission.
4. Provide authorized signatory and photograph, wherever applicable.
5. Make the requisite payment required for the process (if applicable).
6. Now, submit the application to the office of the concerned centre and obtain the acknowledgement slip.
7. After successful verification, the state disability pension will be granted by the concerned authority.
8. Obtain the pension from the concerned CSC centre by showing the acknowledgement slip.
