Colombia - Obtain Duplicate Citizenship Card


Procedure

  1. You must apply in person at the Special registration offices, Municipal Auxiliary or at the Colombian Consulate in the country you are currently residing.
  2. Submit an application form along with all other required documents.





Required Documents

  • Bank payment receipt (Original)
  • Three colored photographs, size 4x5 cm, straight, white, dark clothing. If you have very light hair or white, the background of the photo must be clear blue. For procedures that are performed in the departmental capital cities need not be carried photographs. (Original)
  • Certification SISBEN level it belongs issue dated no more than ninety (90) days. (Copy)
  • Certificate issued by the Special Administrative Unit for Comprehensive Care and Repair in issuance of not more than thirty (30) calendar days, proving the status of victims. (Original)
  • Certification of the vulnerability of the population to be served, issued by the competent municipal authority or by the Attorney General, for the recognition of exemption made ??by the Coordination Unit for Vulnerable Population "UDAPV ". (Original)

Eligibility

  • Citizens of Colombia (either by birth or adoption), who were able to obtain a citizenship card.
  • Have an identity card and know his/her Unique Personal Identification Number (NUIP).

Note: Applicants must be able to prove his/her status as a victim within the meaning of Article 3 of the 1448 Act or 2011 Act victims and land restitution, to achieve exemption from payment of one-time process rights. They must be able to prove that they belong to vulnerable populations served by the Unit for Vulnerable Population "UDAPV" National Civil Registry, in order to achieve exemption from payment of duty in the process.
