7. Present the completed application forms in one of the counter and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.
   
8. Important verifications for the permit includes Vehicle condition, seating arrangements etc., will be carried by authorities.
   
9. After checking the vehicle for its correctness and other appropriate requirements the application will be processed.
   
   

Apply Online:

1. To apply for particular contract carriage permit, the applicant has to visit the official portal of the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways: Link to Portal
2. In the homepage, please scroll down to “Informational Services” and click on the “more” button in the “Citizen Guide” tab.
3. The applicant will be taken to the “Manual” page where all the available services will be listed.
4. Please click on the name of the required service and click on “Step by Step procedure” from the drop down menu.
5. The applicant will be taken to a new PDF page where the process for applying will be explained clearly.
6. Please follow the steps to complete the application.

Apply through Centres:

1. To Apply for particular contract carriage permit in Chhattisgarh, the applicant shall visit the nearest CSC/Tehsil Centre. Find contacts to CSC centres in the link provided:Link
2. Procure the application form from the concerned centre and fill it up with the necessary details required for the process.
3. Make sure to attach all the "Required Documents" along with the application form before submission.
4. Provide authorized signatory and photograph, wherever applicable.
5. Now submit the application to the office of the concerned centre.
6. On successful verification, the applicant will be notified by the CSC centre.

• Payment of green tax wherever applicable.

• Particular Contract Carriage Permit is the most common type of permit.
• The permit grants the holder the right to operate under a contract with his client for a specific destination.
• He cannot pick passengers other than those mentioned in the permit.

• This permit does not entitle the holder to use the vehicle herein described as a stage carriage or as a goods carriage.
  
• FC (for clearance) is a process meant for reviewing the condition of the vehicle by the RTO authorities
