Apply In-Person

1. To Adopt Zoo Animal in Chhattisgarh, the applicant has to approach the Zoo Office.
2. The address of the Zoo in Chhattisgarh can be obtained from the “Office Locations and Contacts” Section of this page.
3. After visiting the office, applicant has to approach the Zoo office to obtain the Adoption form.
4. Choose an Animal for Adoption and level of support.
5. After entering the necessary details, submit the form at the Zoo office/concerned Zoo in charge.
6. Pay the appropriate fees in cash/cheque at the Zoo office.

List down the documents required for successfully completing the procedure.

Any individual/organisation can Adopt Zoo Animal after paying the appropriate fee.

Validity depends upon the number of days/months/years chosen to Adopt an Animal.

• All Adoptions are eligible for Income Tax deduction under section 80G of the IT Act, 1961.
• The adopters will get a free pass to the Zoo along with five other members, once in a year.
• Name of the individual/organisation will be displayed at the enclosure of the Adopted Animal.

Please explain what are other uses of obtaining this document/certificate.
e.g. Birth Certificate can be used as proof of identity.
