1. To apply for a Domestic Help Verification in Chandigarh, get the Domestic Help Verification form from the nearest Sampark Centre or Police StationFind your Sampark Centre, Chandigarh Police Stations
2. You can also download the form online and print it from the link: Application Form.
3. In the procured form, fill the details of the Employer or Owner.
4. Fill the required details of the employee (Servant) and provide a description of the employee.
5. Mention the employee’s friend’s or relative’s information.
6. Provide the voluntary fingerprints of the employee if required.
7. Affix the passport size photograph of the employee in the space given.
8. Attach Photocopy of Photo ID proofs of the employee (V-Card / R-Card / Driving License / I-Card).
9. Duly sign the form and make your thumb impression.
10. Get the form signed by the area Beat Officer.
11. Submit the form at the nearest Sampark Centre or Police Station or Police Beat Box or Police Post.
12. Pay the processing fee if required.
13. Receive the acknowledgement receipt and keep it safe for further reference.
14. Visit the Sampark Centre or Police Station to get the report once it is ready.
    

Note: Carry the original Id proofs to the police station for any necessary cross verifications to be made.

Apply Online : - Apply to get Servant (Domestic Help) Verification Online with Images

1. To apply for Domestic Help Verification online, visit the online Domestic Help Registration service in the Sampark Portal: Apply Online
2. Fill all the required details of the employer in the given window.
3. Fill the required details of the person to be verified/employee.
4. Upload the scanned copies of the required documents in the specified file size and format (Check required documents section for further details).
5. Check the details filled for any correction before you submit the form. Submitted forms cannot be altered.
6. You will receive an acknowledgement receipt.
7. Your application will now be processed and the police will make verifications to create a Report.
8. Any information regarding the report will be sent to your mobile number.
9. You can visit the Sampark centre to collect the Report.
   

Apply Online Through Citizen Portal

1. To apply for Domestic Help Verification visit the link: Apply Online
2. If you are a new user, create a new user account by selecting "Create citizen login", fill in your details, and click submit.
3. Log into your account with the credentials.
4. Select "Citizen Services" from the options given.
5. Then select "Domestic Help Verification" from the list of services.
6. Fill in all the required details in the given window.
7. Upload the scanned copies of the required documents in the specified file size and format (Check required documents section for further details).
8. Check the details filled for any correction before you submit the form. Submitted forms cannot be altered.
9. Pay the required processing fee for which you will receive a transaction receipt.
10. After submission, you will receive your registration number generated by the system.
11. Your application will now be processed and the police will make verifications to create a Report.
12. A digitally signed police clearance certificate will be sent to your registered E-mail Id.
    

Apply through Centres:

1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following link to locate the centre according to the respective district: link.
2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
4. The operator will process the application online.
5. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
6. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any, will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS.
7. If verified, the applicant will get the report.

• According to the law, servant verification is mandatory in Chandigarh.
• While employing a person for domestic help, it is highly advisable to apply for a Police verification report of the said person to ensure your safety.
• When one applies for this Verification, the police runs a complete background check on the person to be employed and their details are stored with the police.
• This protects the employee from involving in any criminal activities in the near future.
