Apply In Person:

1. The license/permission for demolishing any building is provided by the concerned authorities in the Municipal Corporation. Contacts
2. The application form has to be obtained from the authorities in the respective district Municipal Corporation.
3. The prescribed application form for building demolition is Form A.
4. The application form has to be handwritten by the person/owner/agent applying for demolition purposes.
5. The application form has to be submitted along with the required documents prescribed by the authorities.
6. Make sure that you have all the documents which is mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
7. The fee estimation will be provided by the authorities based on the building type and its location.
8. Before the demolition, the owner has to make sure to disconnect the supplies to the building such as
   • Water Supply
   • Electricity Supply
   • Sewage Connection
9. The permit for demolition will not be granted until the owner gets a statement from the respective service connections and appurtenant equipment.
10. All the meters and regulators should be removed, sealed, and plugged in a safe manner before demolition.
11. After supervising everything the authorities will provide permission to demolish the building.

Apply Online:

1. The building demolition application can be submitted online on the Chandigarh’s Official website. Login link
2. You have to Log in using your “Login-ID and Password”.
3. If you are a New User, then you have to create an account using the Mobile Number, Email ID and Password.
4. On the main webpage, you have to select the “Building Permission” option from the left dashboard.
5. After that, you have to select “Alteration” option.
6. The online application form have to be filled with necessary details.
7. Make sure to have all the documents from the “Required Documents” section before applying online.
8. All the required documents have to be scanned and uploaded to the website. (soft copy)
9. The online fee payment can be made using the Credit card/Debit Card and E-Challan.
10. After supervising everything the authorities will provide permission to demolish the building.

Apply through Centres:

1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following link to locate the centre according to the respective district: link.
2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
4. The operator will process the application online.
5. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
6. An inspection will be held to check the premises.
7. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any, will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS.
8. If verified, the license will be hand delivered or sent through post to the address mentioned while applying in a stipulated period of time.

• Proof of Ownership document

• Affidavit for peaceful possession of the land

• NOC from the lessee in case of ease hold
• NOC from Fire Officer
• Environmental clearance
• Details of Fee
• Any other certificate/NOC
• One set of copies should be laminated, and the extra copies if demanded by the authorities.
• NOC certificate from the Neighbour (if the building is Semi-Detached).
• All the copies have to be self-attested by the owner.
• A soft copy in the CAD format can also be submitted by the owner of the building.
