This certificate is used by people who require confirmation of their criminal status for emigration purposes or for working abroad. A certificate stating whether any criminal offences are recorded against the applicant will be issued.
Every person who resides permanently in a country for six months or more even after the age of 18 years requires a Police Clearance Certificate from that country when applying for visa or immigration services.

Police certificates are available at the Judiciaire Commissaire
Usually the clearance certificate is issued on official, watermarked paper, bears the official stamp of the police service from that country and is signed by an authorized government official.
The certificate must cover the period of time from the issue date back to the age you ceased to be a minor, or must cover the whole time you were in a country.
Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) is issued on the basis of Police Verification Report received in respect of the passport held by the applicant. A Police Clearance Certificate is an official document that is issued by the police service of the relevant country by certifying the criminal record of the applicant.
A Police Clearance Certificate is the certificate issued by the Criminal Record Centre of the Chad Police which is a record of your convictions. This certificate is widely known as a Police Clearance Certificate, Police Clearance, Criminal Record, Arrest Record, Criminal Record, etc.
You need to provide a police certificate when applying for permanent residence abroad.

Standard Disclosures are primarily for posts that involve working with children or vulnerable adults; they may also be issued for people entering certain professions, such as members of the legal and accountancy professions.
The Standard Disclosure contains details of all convictions held by the police including current and 'spent' convictions as well as details of any cautions, reprimands or final warnings. The Standard Disclosure also includes information held by the Department of Health of those people considered unsuitable to work with vulnerable adults.
