This procedure explains various ways to Reactivation of Voter Registration Record in Central Visayas.
Reactivation is for previously registered voters whose voting record have been deactivated for failure to vote in two consecutive national regular elections. Any overseas voter whose registration has been deactivated may file with the Resisent Election Registration Board (RERB) at any time, but not later than one hundred twenty (120) days before the start of the overseas voting period. Otherwise, in Philippines, during the next scheduled registration record, a voter with a deactivated registration record may file for the reactivation of his/her registration record with the local COMELEC office of the city/municipality where he/she is registered. Please follow the below guide to apply for reactivation of Voter Registration Record:
I. For Overseas Voters
II For General voters in Philippines
In the absence of any of the above-mentioned identification documents, the applicant may be identified under oath by any registered voter of the precinct where he/she intends to be registered, or by any of his/her relatives within the fourth civil degree of consanguinity or affinity. No registered voter or relative shall be allowed to identify more than three applicants. Community Tax Certificates (cedula) and PNP clearance shall not be honored as valid identification documents for purposes of registration.
