• Prepare a request to obtain a certificate of residence, addressed to the Mayor.
• Submit your request along with all other required documents.
• Pay the issuance fee.

For Citizens of Cape Verde:

• Request addressed to the Mayor
• Copy of the applicants identification

For Foreign Residents:

• Request addressed to the Mayor
• Copy of Passport Identification Pages in and the date of first entry into the country;
• Declaration coming from the Zone Administrative Board where the applicant resides
• Statement froom three (3) witnesses / residents, along with a copy of their identification.

This certificate may be obtained by both Cape Verde citizens and foreigners residing in the country.

Issuance fee: 150 ECV
