Apply by Mail
- To apply for an independent fuel seller, the applicant will need to be appointed as a collector. Use the following contact Link
- Use the link to download the application form Link
- Fill in the application form with all the relevant details.
- Attach copies of additional documents if required, find a list of documents under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Submit the application form to the mailing address mentioned under the “Office Locations and Contacts” section of this page.
- The applicant will not need to pay a fee to obtain a license.
- Once the applicant submits the application to the relevant authorities, the application form will be reviewed and the applicant may be contacted for further information.
- The applicant will receive a mail indicating if their fuel collector registration has been approved.
- If the application form is approved, the applicant will receive two copies of a draft agreement.
- The applicant may be required to submit an unconditional letter of credit from a recognized Canadian financial institution.
- The applicant will have to sign both copies of the draft and the unconditional letter and send it back.
- The applicant shall receive their license within a few weeks from the submission of the application.

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a fuel seller in British Columbia.
- The applicant must be 19 years of age or above.
