1. To Obtain the Poultry Compartment Sanitary Certificate, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock link
2. Develop and implement a comprehensive health program for the poultry compartment. This program should include disease prevention and control measures, vaccination protocols, biosecurity practices, and regular monitoring of poultry health.
3. Coordinate with a veterinarian authorized by MAPA to conduct inspections and assessments of the poultry compartment.
4. The veterinarian will evaluate the compliance of the facility with the sanitary standards and verify the implementation of the health program.
5. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
6. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
7. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
8. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
9. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
10. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
11. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
12. Then the application will be processed further.
13. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
14. MAPA or its designated agency will conduct an inspection and evaluation of the poultry compartment based on the provided documentation and records.
15. This may include site visits, sample collection, and assessment of compliance with sanitary standards.
16. If the poultry compartment meets the required sanitary standards and passes the inspection, MAPA will issue the Poultry Compartment Sanitary Certificate.
17. The certificate confirms that the poultry compartment complies with the established sanitary requirements and is authorized for specific poultry-related activities.
18. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
