- To Obtain Psychologist Accreditation, the applicant has to approach the MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, BRAZIL – link or respective institution.
- Once the applicant has completed his/her Bachelor's degree in Psychology, ensure that he/she obtains his/her diploma from his/her educational institution. The diploma serves as proof of his/her completion of the program.
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Some CRPs may require the applicant to attend an orientation session or an Ethical Practice course. This course provides information on the code of ethics and professional standards for psychologists in Brazil.
- Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
- For further process, the applicant has to follow the instruction given by the officer.
- This entire process can be completed within 3 – 4 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

- Copy of the applicant’s identification document (passport, Brazilian ID, etc.)
- Copy of the applicant’s CPF (Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas, a Brazilian tax identification number)
- Copy of the applicant’s Bachelor's degree diploma in Psychology
- Academic transcripts
- Certificate of completion for the applicant’s internship or supervised practical training
- Proof of payment of registration fees
- Any other documentation specified by the licensing authority
