- To Obtain ART STAMP for Handcrafted Product, the applicant has to approach the Instituto Nacional da Propriedade Industrial link or Brazilian Handicrafts Institute (IBGM) link
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer or the applicant has to write a complaint letter A4 sheet.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.
- The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Then the application will be processed further.
- Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
- If the application is approved, the applicant will receive an art stamp that the applicant can use to label the handcrafted products.
- The art stamp will serve as a mark of authenticity and quality, and can help the applicant market his/her products to customers in Brazil and around the world.
- This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the Art Stamp, artisans must meet certain criteria established by the Brazilian Handicrafts Institute (IBGM), including:
- The product must be handmade and produced using traditional techniques and materials.
- The product must have a cultural, historical, or artistic value that reflects the cultural heritage of Brazil.
- The artisan must be registered with the IBGM and have a Certification of Authenticity for their products.
