- To Apply to Issue CCIR (Rural Property Registration Certificate), the applicant has to approach the Instituto Nacional de Colonização e Reforma Agrária – INCRA link
- Ensure that the applicant’s facility meets the required hygiene standards and sanitation practices. This may involve implementing appropriate cleaning procedures, maintaining proper waste management systems, providing adequate handwashing facilities, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, if applicable.
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.
- The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Then the application will be processed further.
- The applicant may need to follow up with the INCRA office to check the status of the application. They will inform the applicant about any additional steps or requirements, if necessary.
- This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

- Proof of ownership or legal possession of the rural property, such as the property deed or contract.
- Personal identification documents, such as the applicant’s CPF (Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas) or CNPJ (Cadastro Nacional da Pessoa Jurídica) if the property is owned by a legal entity.
- Proof of address, such as a recent utility bill or a residential certificate.
- Updated land survey or land registration documentation, if available.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for a CCIR (Cadastro de Imóvel Rural, or Rural Property Registration Certificate) in Brazil, the applicant must meet the following requirements:
