1. To Apply to Accredit Certifiers in SISBOV, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock link
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.
6. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
7. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
8. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
9. Then the application will be processed further.
10. They may conduct an assessment of the organization's capacity, systems, and processes to ensure that the applicant meets the accreditation requirements for certifying cattle in the SISBOV.
11. If the application is approved, the applicant will be granted accreditation as a certifier in the SISBOV.
12. This will authorize the organization to perform assessments and certifications in accordance with the SISBOV standards and guidelines.
13. This entire process can be completed within 2 – 3 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

To be eligible to apply to accredit certifiers in SISBOV in Brazil, the following requirements must be met:

• Be a legal entity: The certifier must be a legal entity that is registered with the Brazilian government.
• Have experience in certification: The certifier must have experience in certifying agricultural products.
• Have the necessary infrastructure: The certifier must have the necessary infrastructure to conduct audits and to issue certificates.
• Be financially sound: The certifier must be financially sound and must be able to cover the costs of certification.
• Be impartial: The certifier must be impartial and must not have any financial or other interests that could conflict with its ability to provide objective certification services.

• The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
