How apply:

1. One should contact Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD), for more information on how to file the application.
2. Application forms can be obtain for the above offices or download it by click the link.Forms
3. Accurately fill in the form, sign it and attach copies of the requirements and submit via mail or in person addressed to the MoESD head office (as hard copies) or via email to Moesd16885@gov.bw (as softcopies) for verification and processing.
4. If the Ministry of Education is satisfied that you have complied with the all conditions as set for the application of the permit, he or she will then issue you with Permit by mail.

• Citizens: National Identity Card (Omang).
• Non-Citizens: A certified copy of the bio-data page of a valid/unexpired passport.

All applicants require the following documentation to accompany the application form:

• Cover Letter.
• Curriculum Vitae.
• Research Proposal.

The aim of issuing the permit by the ministry is to gives permission to researchers and students to access information or data unique to the Ministry of Education & Skills Development (MoESD). The information accessed is usually needed to support a publication that requires information about the ministry.
