The Trade Act and the Liquor Act have provided for the establishment of the Trade Licensing Committees, Control Authorities and the Regional Appeals Boards. The issuance of licences has been decentralised to the Local Authorities.
A company or an individual whose liquor licences has either being damage, worn-out, lost or stolen are required to report the incident with the police immediately and apply for a duplicate licence, so as to be able to operate the business.
