Apply In-Person
- To access the Money Order Service, interested persons should visit the nearest Botswana Post branch office. Botswana Post Branch Offices Contact Details.
- Collect and fill out the Money Order forms, available for free at any of the Botswana post offices, present the completed Money Order form and cash to the Teller / Cashier who in turn gives a receipt and an Order to be mailed to the payee (recipient).
- The Payee presents the Order and identification document to the paying Posta outlet, which can be either the nearest Post Office or Botswana Post Kiosk in select Choppies stores to collect the money you have sent them.
Apply Online
- To access the online Money Transfer, interested persons should first visit the nearest Botswana Post branch office with their identity document and express their interest in accessing the online money transfer services.
- Collect and complete the registration form and submit it to the customer care desk, who will then register your online Money Transfer profile into the Botswana Post database system.
- After this step, you will need to activate the account by visiting the Botswana Post website Eservice link, click on the “Register Here” tab, and fill out the registration form then click on the “Submit” tab.
- Upon successful activating the account, log in with your email address and password, locate the Money Order Services and then proceed.
- Note: To access the Online Money Transfer services the applicants should have a registered activated Botswana Post SIM card
- Online Money Transfer is only available for local money transfers.
