Apply In-Person

1. visit one of the local Wildlife & National Park offices and at the service desk verbally request for assistances on how to apply for the licence.
2. Submit the required documents (listed below) for verification and processing.
3. Pay the required fees
4. The licence will be generated and approved by the authorized officer and issued to you over the counter immediately.

• National Identity Card (Omang).
• Certified copy of passport.
• Registration documents from the camps or lodges. (if applicable)

Citizens
BWP25.00 for a bird hunting season in a year.

Non-Citizens

• BWP150.00 - one week.
• BWP300.00 - one month.
• BWP750.00 - one year.

Validity period varies (one week, one month or one year)

A valid Gaming hunting license is required for one to be able to hunt of game birds within Botswana.
