Apply In-Person

1. Interested farmers who wish to be trained in Agro-processing and Conservation of Natural Resources should visit the Department of Crop Production (DCP) Offices; headquarter office or district office for the registration process . Use this link to view the DCP offices address detail: Link
2. Collect and complete the Registration Training service form, copies of the forms are available for free at any of the Crop Production Offices and are not available online.
3. Submit the completed form attached to the identity card copy, to be verified by the District Crop Production Extension Officer.
4. The Extension Officer will then proceed with the registration process, which takes a few minutes, beneficiaries of the training program will be issued with a registration card and given further instruction on where and when the crop production training course will commence.

The duration of courses offered at these centres ranges from one (1) to six (6) weeks.

There are five Rural Training Centres in Botswana – (Denman, Francistown, Southern, Ngamiland, and Mahalapye) that offer training services in all aspects of Crop Production, Animal Production, Marketing of Agricultural Produce, Agro-processing, and Conservation of Natural Resources
