Apply In-Person

1. To apply for Analytical Testing of Plant, the applicants should visit the nearest District Crop Production Office and District Animal Production Office. (please view District or sub- District crop/animal production offices address details using these links;

2. Applicants are required to collect and complete the plant sample submission form, Forms are available for free at the Enquiries Desk at any of the Animal Production Office, or directly download it using this link; Link (Application form)
3. Submit the duly completed application form along with the relevant attachments (mentioned below under the ‘Required Documents’ section) and the plant part samples to the Analytical Laboratory office to be verified and recorded by the lab technician {Address is listed under “Office Locations & Contacts” section on this page).
4. Pay the prescribed Cost for plant Analysis you require, as mentioned under the “Fee” section of this page and obtain an acknowledgment receipt indicating the date of the withdrawal of the result. Note this receipt should be carried when collecting the result if it’s in person.
5. After the sample test analysis and evaluation of the test results which is between 14-21 working days, a report finding will be issued/send to the applicant inform of a form either by mail, letter, or in-person; following the applicant preferable way to obtain the results.
6. If you require the test results to be explained, please contact/request the Laboratory officer to explain it.
   

• Certified copy of Valid National Identity Card (Omang).
• Young farmers need to produce a letter (confirming that they are the youth in that district) written by the District Agricultural Office.
