CAAB may issue an Export Certificate of Airworthiness when satisfied that the product conforms to the standards prescribed in Regulation 14 of CIVIL AVIATION (AIRWORTHINESS) REGULATIONS, 2012.

The applicant for the issue of an Export Certificate of Airworthiness shall be the owner or authorized by the owner, and shall provide satisfactory evidence that the product conforms to a type design applicable to the State of Import and any other requirements set out in AAC 008.

Issuance of Export Certificate of Airworthiness (C of A) (in Pula):

• Aircraft not exceeding 5700kg: 100.00 for every 500kg or part therof
• Aircraft exceeding 5700kg: 200.00 for every 500kg or part thereof

The Export Certificate of Airworthiness is a document issued to facilitate the export of an aircraft onto the register of another State. Such a document provides confirmation of a recent satisfactory review of the airworthiness of an aircraft or other product but does not authorize it for flight.
