Bihar - Register as Doctor


Procedure

Apply online:

  1. To Register as Doctor, the applicant has to make the application online via link
  2. The applicant has to enter all the personal details and select the department type.
  3. Also, upload the necessary documents which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  4. Followed by entering the complete details about the hospital/ medical college / private clinic.
  5. After completing all the details click the “Submit” button.
  6. The applicant has to pay the fee of Rs. 2,000/-( + 18% GST) online mode.
  7. Once completed click the “Submit” button.
  8. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  9. Then the application will be processed further.
  10. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
  11. The applicant will receive the certificate by post or by visiting the office.
  12. This entire process can be completed within 20 - 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.


Apply In Person

  1. To Register as Doctor, the applicant has to approach the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare link National/ state Medical Commission (Council) link
  2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
  3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  7. The applicant has to pay the fee of Rs. 2,000/-( + 18% GST)
  8. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  9. Then the application will be processed further.
  10. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.

Eligibility

  • Any MBBS degree holder who completes a Master of Medicine (MD) or Master of Surgery (MS) program for postgraduate medical programs and who needs to continue for practicing their career is eligible to make this application.




Fees

  • The applicant has to pay the fee of Rs. 2,000/-( + 18% GST)
