Apply In-Person

1. To apply in person or mortgage certificate (called possession certificate) Bihar, you will have to visit the Anchaladhikari office or the right to public service office.
2. Download the application from the website of the revenue and land reforms department.
3. Here is the link: Download application form
4. Fill in all relevant details and submit the form to the office along with all documents.
5. A list of needed documents can be found under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. You will receive an application number that can be used to keep track of your application.
7. You can track application here: Application status
8. You will receive a certificate within 10-15 days from the submission of the application.
9. You can download the application after getting an SMS on your phone.
10. To download the certificate go to the portal and click on “Download web copy” on the left-hand side of the page.
    

Apply through Centres:

1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following link to locate the centre according to the respective district: link.
2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
4. The operator will process the application online.
5. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
6. This application will be processed internally. An inspection will be held to check the premises.
7. Once the inspection is over, these officials will submit their report to the respective superior authority to decide the issue of the license to the applicant.
8. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any, will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS.
9. If approved, the license will be hand delivered or sent through post to the address mentioned while applying or issued in a stipulated period of time.
