Procedure
Apply via Agent
Apply In-Person:
- Applicant must approach the revenue department authorities or thasildhar or circle officer to apply in person.

- Please go to the respective office. Obtain the relevant application form from the office authorities.
- Make sure that you have all the proper documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
- Submit the form along with the required documents to the authorities.
- Now collect the acknowledgment slip from the authorities.
- After the verification process, applicant shall receive the duplicate copy of income certificate.
Note: If the validity of your lost / damaged income certificate is going to expire in few days then you can apply for fresh income certificate by using the web copy or the acknowledgment slip of the lost / damaged income certificate.
Through CSC
- Use the following link to find the centre. Link: CSC locator
- Please go to the respective office.
- Application can be obtained from the authorities.
- Submit the complete application along with required documents to the operator in the centre.
- Operator will check the details and start to process online using the computer.
- Applicant will get the transaction ID for the application made. Please keep it safe for future reference.
- This application will be processed by the respective department as per how it will be processed in person.
- Applicant will get notification about the status on his registered mobile number provided while applying.
- Applicant has to go and meet the respective authorities with documents as instructed to get the duplicate Income certificate as per given date.

- Enter the application ID of the lost / damaged income certificate and click “Print” tab to download the income certificate.

Eligibility
- Applicant should be the resident of Bihar.
- Applicant must be the citizen of India.
- Applicant whose income certificate is lost / damaged can apply for duplicate certificate.

Processing Time

Instructions
- Visit the tehsildhar office of your taluk to obtain the duplicate copy of the income certificate.
- Never apply for fresh income certificate before the expiry of available income certificate. If you apply, your application will get rejected and you may face some difficulties later.
