APPLY In-Person:

1. To apply for agriculture electricity connection in person visit ELECTRICITY BOARD OFFICE in your respective area
2. The address and contact details of the office can be found in ‘’Office and Contact Details” section of this page
3. Visit the Office and get the Application form for Agricultural Electricity Connection from the relevant department or you can download the application form from the following link:link and Link
4. Please fill the application with essential information and details and it should be attested with the applicant along with all the partner’s signature
5. Make sure that you have all the documents that are listed in “Required Documents” section of this page. Attach all the important documents mentioned
6. Then, it should be submitted to the relevant authority. Also pay the required fees for the application process at the office as directed by the officials or you can find the required fee in “Fee Details” section of this page
7. And your application and attached documents will be passed for verification to check if the land and area is eligible for the type of connection proposed
8. After successful registration, an acknowledgement mentioning the registration number and date of registration will be given to the applicant
9. Now, concerned officials will approve the application and orders will be issued.
   

Apply Online:
New agricultural electricity Connection Instruction:

1. Open the URL Link / Link in the browser.
2. The left hand side has the Menu List. Select the Menu Item New Connection.
3. The Menu Section will expand. Select the Item "LT/HT New Connection"as required.
4. Read the instructions carefully and click the Continue button.
5. Please keep ready the Scanned Copy of Identity Proof Document, Address Proof Document and Photograph of the Applicant (in case of Individual) for applying the connection Online.
6. Identity Proof (Ration Card, Passport, Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence, PAN Card, ID Card Issued by Government , Below Poverty Line Card )
7. Address Proof (Ration Card, Passport, Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence,Gas Connection Card, Bill of Govt. Landline Connection, Photo Identity Card issued by any Govt. Agency)
8. Fill the required details in the Online Application form. Upload the scanned documents in the relevant section and re-examine the details filled. Read the declaration at the end of the form carefully and then click the Submit button.
9. On Submit, a new connection application order is created and a Temporary Registration Number is generated. User is also shown the Order Number and the Application Amount
10. Save the Temporary Registration Number and Order Number for future reference.
11. FORM WILL BE PROCESSED ONLY AFTER APPLICATION FEE IS SUBMITTED.
12. Facility for making the Online Payment of the Posting Amount is available. Click on the link provided to proceed to payment
13. On clicking the payment link, a pre-payment screen is displayed.
14. Click on the Confirm Payment button to confirm the details.
15. A confirmation section is shown below for verification. Verify the details and click the "Pay Now" button.
16. Please ensure that the browser allows Popups for the site [nbpdcl.co.in Link] or alternately disable the Popup Blocker. A detailed manual for doing this is available on the page.
17. A new popup will open up which will show the Payment Gateway page. Select the preferred payment option and make the payment.
18. Once payment transaction is processed at payment gateway end, a transaction acknowledgement screen will be shown by the gateway.
19. At this stage, Consumer can also view updated transaction detail at WSS portal by selecting Print Receipt option from the left hand menu and entering the Temporary Registration Number.
20. Once the application is accepted by the designated officer, Mail and SMS will be sent to Consumer for submission of Security Deposit and supervision charges.
21. User can also check the latest status of the submitted application by clicking the "New Connection Status" link in the same Menu Section.

Apply through Centres:

1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following link to locate the centre according to the respective district: link.
2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. An application form can be obtained through the kiosk operator upon visiting the centre.
4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
5. Submit the application form with ”Required Documents” to the office.
6. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
7. The operator will process the application online.
8. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
9. This application will be processed internally. Once the verification is over, these officials will submit their report to the respective superior authority to decide the issue of the Certificate to the applicant.
10. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any, will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS.
11. If approved, the certificate will be hand delivered or sent through post to the address mentioned while applying or issued as per applicable norms.

• Any person who wishes to set up a new electricity connection in their agricultural land can apply.
• The shareholders of the land should possess a no objection certificate sworn before the Executive Engineer/Operation and Maintenance Office of the jurisdiction concerned.
• The certificate should be obtained afterverification from the Village Administrative Officer.

• Charge differs with requirement. So, authorities will estimate and will give actual figure for getting connection
