Apply In-Person

1. To obtain Zoo Animal adoption Permit in Arunachal Bihar, the applicant will have to contact the Zoo Office in Patna. Please tap on the following link to view contact details: link.
2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. After visiting the office, the applicant has to approach the Zoo office/Authority in charge of the Adoption form.
4. Choose an animal for adoption and level of support/period of adoption.
5. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
6. Submit the application form with ”Required Documents” to the office.
7. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page.
8. Upon the satisfaction of the authorities, the applicant will be provided with the adoption permit.
9. Once payment is transferred successfully, an adoption certificate will be issued.
10. The applicant is also allowed to give the adopted animal to their relatives, friends or family as a gift.

Any individual/organisation can Adopt Zoo Animal after paying the appropriate fee.

Validity depends upon the number of months/years chosen to Adopt an Animal.

• All Adoptions are eligible for Income Tax deduction under section 80G of the IT Act, 1961.
• Official Certificate of adoption and memento will be provided.
• Name of the individual/organisation or company’s logo will be displayed outsidethe enclosure of the Adopted Animal.
• Complimentary passes for an entire year to visit the Zoo.
• The adopter will be invited for various orientation programmes at the Zoo.
• Adopters can have access to the Zoo guesthouse and are allowed to film or photograph the animals.

Please explain what are other uses of obtaining this document/certificate.
