Apply In-Person:

1. In case you have lost, damaged or your License is stolen, visit the nearest police station to report the circumstances where it got lost and obtain the police report.
2. Go to the Transport Control department, license section to submit your request In-person.
3. Pay the application fees and present your application for verification.
4. The TCD officer will examine your documents i.e. damaged license or the police report.
5. Upon satisfactory observation and examination of the application, the official will forward your application to the back office for processing.
6. A duplicate license will be produces and issued to you.

A driver's license is normally valid for 10 years, driver's license validity varies for holders aged 65 up.

• For license holders aged between 65 and 75: 5 years
• Over 75 years old: 2 years

• A driving license is an official document which states that a person may operate a motorized vehicle, such as a motorcycle, car, truck or a bus, on a public roadway.
• Lost or stolen driver's licenses must be replaced as soon as possible. Getting a replacement license will reduce the opportunity for others to use it fraudulently. It is also possible to replace your license if it's damaged or you've changed your name.
