Apply by Email :

1. Gather and scan all the required documents for this application.
2. Download and fill the following application form: Application Form NOTE: that the application Form contains instructions to your application read them carefully and confirm with the form if you have all the required documents.
3. Apply for the payment invoice and pay the application fees online.
4. Save the application form and all the required documents in a single file and submit it via email to: licencing@bcaa.bm
5. Upon receiving your application, a licensing officer of the Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority will verify your application.
6. After confirming that the application is in order, it will be processed and the Certificate of Validation issued and sent to you though the address you have provided.

• Current aircraft maintenance engineer certificate
• Evidence from the issuing State, verifying the validity of the submitted aircraft maintenance engineer Licence
• Evidence of recent experience of being engaged in aircraft maintenance activity relevant to the privileges of the licence for a total of at least six months within the last twenty four months
• Evidence of successful completion of type specific training associated with the rating applied for
• If the type specific training was not completed within the last thirty six months of the date of application, evidence of type specific continuation training within the last thirty six months is required.

• All applicants for an initial or renewal granting of Certificate of Validation need to have the particulars of their license verified by the appropriate section or department of the Aviation Authority that issued their license.
• Documents not in English must be accompanied by an official translation.
• Incomplete applications, applications received without the required supporting documentation may not be processed.
