How to apply:

1. Contact the nearest Benin embassy or consulate office in person or by phone and request to speak with the Consular Officer with a request to register status abroad.
2. You will be required to send a fax or email of your address and contacts in host country and the particulars of 'Person to contact in case of emergency'. in case you are registering via a phone.
3. If you are registering in person you will be required to verbally give out the required information at the embassy office, which will be entered into their database system.
4. Note that some embassy offers online registration process, visit the Benin embassy website portal of your host country and register if available.
